Morals and Values: Sixth Form Tutorial Materials

Price: £25.00
Age Range: KS4+

Use these resources to immerse your KS5 students in the fundamental ethical dilemmas of today and improve their reasoning powers. Students develop a deeper awareness of many complex issues, gaining an understanding of citizenship in a modern society, while also improving their written and verbal skills in presenting opinions and arguments. Worksheets and lesson plans cover material suitable for discussion in Key Stage 5 / Sixth Form PSHE classes, including attitudes that underpin homophobic bullying. Resources may be used by non-specialist teachers, although the most sensitive worksheets would ideally be taught by teachers who know the students well.

Worksheet/lesson plan topics: Origins of prejudice; The UN Charter of Human Rights; Genetic engineering; Rights and privileges of society; Gay issues; The backlash against feminism.
