This complete PSHE scheme was designed mainly for special schools but is also an ideal resource for mainstream schools coping with an influx of pupils with special needs. The scheme is written to cater for KS3 and KS4 students with a wide variety of abilities and attention spans. Suitable for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students with emotional and behavioural disorder (EBD) and moderate learning difficulties (MLD).

Each topic is covered by a pair of worksheets which share a central activity, but approach it at different levels:

  • higher level worksheet has a reading age of 9 and uses 120 words per page
  • lower level worksheet has a reading age of 7 and only 75 words per page.

Name and school withheld.

Chalkface is my go to recourse. Students buy into it and it creates opportunities for some very indepth conversations which means we can build relationships with the most challenging students.
