Literacy Basics: Spelling Worksheets 1

Price: £25.00
Age Range: KS3 KS4

Updated and extended. Spelling guidelines for KS3 and KS4 students who need more support.

Use these literacy worksheets to cover the most common spelling errors and give your students practice on problem word forms and confusing words. Similar to 'Literacy Basics: Spelling Worksheets 2' but lesson plans and worksheets use simpler language, easier explanations and less demanding exercises. The two packs of resources can be used independently or in tandem to cover the same skills with Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students at different ability levels.

Resources now include online spelling assessments

Each lesson plan is matched by a self-marking formative assessment on Yacapaca.com. Students can take the assessments at school or at home; the results and analysis will be emailed to you.

The exercises were excellent but I feel that the worksheets should have more colourful pictures to appeal to visual learners.
