Inclusion Resource Bank

Price: £295.00
Age Range: KS3 and KS4

The complete resource for inclusion of isolated students.

  • 288 worksheets
  • across six key subjects
  • and two key stages - for mixed ability.

Many school inclusion co-ordinators already use Chalkface resources to great effect. The Inclusion Resource Bank was written from scratch to fulfil the following criteria:

  • To provide a broad choice of curriculum materials across subjects, key stages, and topics, so that work assigned to students in isolation can be aligned with that of their regular classmates.
  • To be usable by the student without teacher intervention; the materials can be used at home, in an internal isolation unit, or even in hospital.
  • To cater for students across the ability spectrum by supporting a range of differentiation strategies.

Inclusion resources cover:

  • Maths
  • English
  • Science
  • PSHE
  • Citizenship
  • RE

Buy either as five standard photocopy-master binders or on one CD. The price is the same either way.

Update: Inclusion ePortfolios

The Inclusion Resource Bank contains flexible inclusion lessons and is used in many different ways, by different organisations. What these have in common is the problem of maintaining continuity for students whose attendance is temporary and frequently sporadic. The Resource Bank may be useful for moving these students towards inclusion in schools and certainly towards inclusion in education.

To help improve continuity, we have created five subject-based ePortfolios, matching the five subjects of the Resource Bank. They are free to use for you and any of your students. These ePortfolios live on our assessment website Yacapaca and are accessible anywhere there is web access.

To get started, download the Inclusion ePortfolios instructions manual (PDF).

i was looking for materials for students who are: excluded, included within school but in isolation, on a part-time timetable, looked-after children who are temporarily moved out of area, on alternative curriculum which has a distance learning element and those on a flexi arrangement with home. This one pack covers all of these and being both cross-curricular and cross-key stage fits the bill on all scores. i will be making up a number of booklets which will then be available throughout our school.
