KS3 CAREER EXPLORATION

KS3 CAREER MANAGEMENT

• 25 DECISION TIME FOR KS4! By the end of this lesson students will have had the opportunity to plan how to reach decisions about key stage 4 options.
• 27 WHO CAN HELP? By the end of this lesson students will have had the opportunity to consult relevant adults for information, advice and guidance. Curriculum Links: Enterprise
• 29 I LIKE IT! I CAN DO IT! By the end of this lesson students will have had the opportunity to relate personal strengths and interests to information on careers.

KS4 SELF DEVELOPMENT

• 35 NOW YOU ARE IN KEY STAGE 4 By the end of this lesson students will have reviewed their transition from KS3 to KS4 and analysed their reactions to this transition. If the lesson is to be delivered by a MFL teacher, activity 3 could be written in the target language. Curriculum Links: English/MFL
• 37 HOW AM I DOING? By the end of this lesson students will have assessed how well their qualities match up to the demands of employers.
• 39 WORK EXPERIENCE - WHAT DID I LEARN? By the end of this lesson students will have reviewed what they learned from their work experience, and more able students will have used their MFL target language to produce an advertisement. Curriculum Links: Business, MFL
